Washington D.C. Weather
We're leaving for DC tomorrow and will arrive on Thursday. Given the current weather conditions and the forecast, does anyone have any advice as to the best way to plan clothing for the trip.
|
Bring an umbrella and a light sweater. The air conditioning always seems to take a while to power down after a few hot days--you'll be arriving as we return to the 80s (yay) and the rain starts (also yay from our perspective, but maybe not yours--sorry).

It is going to be HOT, HOT, HOT!! I am listening to the weather right now, and tomorrow is supposed to be close to 100. And there is no rain in the forecast. Pack very light, cool clothing.

We are indeed in the midst of a heat wave that should continue through the week-end. It is hot and humid. The lowest "high" temperature (does that make sense to anyone but me?) predicted for the whole week will be in the low 90's. Plan to wear as little clothing as possible (light colors). And be sure to bring an extra pair of walking shoes. We would love it if we thought you would need rain gear, but that is not in the forecast. <BR>

There is a heat-wave, and advisory, it's almost 100 degrees, ugh!!!!

We just got back from DC, and it was HOT! Somehow all those people and cars seem to make it feel twice as oppressive. Light clothing, a fanny pack, and some bottled water sound right to me.
