Washington D.C /marlyand area
 

I was interested in finding a place to stay somewhere between washington D.C and marlyand. I also will be in the McLean Virginia area.A bed and breakfast would be great! Any ideas?

There's a beautiful Ritz-Carlton attached to the Tyson's Corner Mall in McClean. That should definitely fill the bill for you lodging AND shopping wise!

I don't know of anything quaint, but I have heard good things about the Embassy Suites at Friendship Heights at the Friendship Heights Metro stop. Very nice, safe area, good shopping, and right on the border between Maryland and D.C. Might technically be located in Chevy Chase, MD or perhaps it is in D.C. Access to McClean might require a car.

McLEAN for God's sake!! <BR> <BR>I would hesitate to take recommendations from people who can't get the name of a town correct.

Kim, as Maryland borders Washington, it's hard to stay between them. Are you trying to choose between them or is there someplace in Maryland that you want to visit and also want to be able to visit DC?
