Washington D.C. Hotel...Help
 

I'm travelling to Washington D.C. to attend a conference at the IFC (2121 Penn. Avenue). Can anyone recommend a hotel (range $150/night) within walking distance or close to a metro stop. <BR> <BR>Thanks

Call 1-800-VISITDC. They have reduced rates on hotels in DC. They also have a website at www.visitdc.com. We always use them for trips to DC.

Hotels within walking distance of your conference include the J.W. Marriott, the Hotel Washington and the Willard (though it's highly unlikely you'll find a room in your price range there). Email me if you need more information.

I'm sorry. I forgot to mention that the walking distance is about 6 or 7 blocks from those hotels. If it's going to be in the summer, forget it.

The three recommendations posted previously are a LONG walk away from IFC but more convenient to White House and Mall. Much closer hotels include Doubletree Guest Suites, Wyndham Bristol, Park Hyatt, ANA Hotel, One Washington Circle, Washington Marriott, and Embassy Suites.
