Walt Disney World pool hours

I read somewhere that some of the disney resorts have strange pool hours. Are any of these at the deluxe disney resorts? Thanks!

I think they close at midnight during the summer.

Last summer when we were there, they had longer hours over the weekend than during the week. Also, when the lifeguards went off duty (9 pm?) you couldn't use the water slides anymore.

Oh good. I thought there might be an early closing like 7:oopm. Thank you!

No.

Some of the pools stay open 24 hours.

The pools that close at midnight are busy right up to midnight.

Lifeguard duty varies.

The All-Star pools are "at your own risk" after the lifeguard leaves. We saw people in the pool at 2AM. The slides are closed when the life guard leaves but people were still using the pool at Port Orleans in the evening. The Beach club's pool was closed completely when the life guards went off duty - around 10PM, I think, last summer.
