Walt Disney this week

I'll be at Walt Disneyworld from tomorrow through Wednesday..any idea how crowds are at the Magic Kingdom during the week please? Thanks.

This is a little off season, so the crowds should not be too bad. The closer you get to the Holidays the worse it will get.

Go to www.disboards.com for great information.

The crowds have been pretty light. Disney is laying off its workers right and left.

I was just at Disney a week ago...was as crowded as I've seen it. Much busier than I expected. Magic Kingdom was definitely packed. Have fun!

Hi Carolyn, we have annual passes, so we go fairly often. Went about 4 weeks ago and Epcot was virtually deserted. Never seen so few people there, but Animal Kingdom was as crowded as I remember from before. Went last weekend on our way home from Tampa, not planned, got there after 11:00 and stayed at the Magic Kingdom till about 3:30, there were lots of crowds, but we did more in 4 hours than we usually do with 9. We planned our time, used fast pass, and literally walked on some rides, and shows with no wait. The most amazing was Splash MT. I have sometimes waited- pre fast pass use - for upwards of 1 1/2 hrs. We were going to use fast pass, but standby wait time said 10 min, and it wasn't even, the time it took for us to walk all the way through the wait path was our only wait, we got on the first boat that pulled in. Something to note, is that they have security at the front of all the parks, and they check all of your bags, bring none, and you don't have to wait in those long checking lines.

we were in disney last week, and actually had to queue never longer than 10 mins, and usually even without any queues at all !
thought it was great, though parks closing at 5/6pm is really early.

Just thought I would let you know, the reason for the early closing at Magic Kingdom was for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. This is not an every day/park occurance.

Well, I got back and it was "dead." I have NEVER seen that area so bad, in terms of just no tourists. Although the Courtyard Marriott on Hotel Plaza Blvd (Lake Buena Vista, FL)down the street from Downtown Disney was only $29.00 (407)828-8888 from Monday through Thurs and Friday Sat and Sun it was $59.00 (don't know about other hotels)...there just was no one at the parks. I didn't wait more than 5 minutes.
THIS is the time to go, imo.
