Does this hotel have the heavenly beds by WEstin? Is it clean and comfortable. I have read some posts that the Swan and Dolphin rooms were musty?
Is it really convenient to the parks and retail and outlet shopping?

I have stayed at Swan (and liked it), but not recently enough to give you answers to ?s 1 and 2.

But location has not changed. It is very convenient to Epcot, a short and fun boat ride away on a sort of canal. There are Disney buses (short ride) to the other parks. As for retail and outlet shopping, it is a free Disney bus ride from Disney Marketplace. But other shopping (or anythign off Disney grounds) you would need to cab ride or drive to. Best OUtlets in Orlando IMO are the Premium outlets, 15 min away, but a lot longer if it is during rush hour, so time your driving to the outlets.

I believe the Swan just went through a major renovation. It is a very pretty hotel.

The Swan does not participate in the Disney Magical Express shuttle service from Orlando International Airport. But it does have the transportation on Disney property.

Both the Swan and the Dolphin were totally refurbished within the last couple years. The location is great.
The Dolphin is larger than the Swan and has a much more "bustling " lobby area.

I stayed at the dolphin for 10 days last March. It was ok - not the best rooms I've stayed in but not the worse either. They do have heavenly beds.

I believe the Swan is a little nicer than the dolphin but have not stayed at that hotel - maybe another fodorite has?
