walking tours of Chinatown, San Francisco

Wondering if anyone has recent experience with either Wok Wiz or All About Chinatown walking tours. Any opinions on the Dim Sum that is included with either of them?
Thanks!

Are you familiar with the SF City Guides tour of Chinatown?

I have not done Wok Wiz or All About Chinatown, but have done several with SF City Guides. Their Chinatown tour was excellent as was the tour of the Palace Hotel and Ferry Building. I also did Bawdy & Naughty - it was just OK.

Check out the above link. Lots of choices.

A Wok Wiz tour we did a few years ago was probably the only food walk we DIDN'T enjoy much. It's possible we were just unlucky in the guide we were dealt, but we mostly heard about how much he hated graffiti, and he catered to a woman in the group who had trouble walking (WHY!)

It was our first experience with Dim Sum, and we did have a couple of interesting items, but then he ordered us a huge platter of mediocre stir-fry.

This kinda sounds worse than it was...I'm usually not a complainer, HA!

Thanks, I know about the SF City Guides tour but it isn't offered on the days that we will be there. TripAdvisor had mixed reviews, but generally the All About Chinatown had more favorable comments. Guess I will go with them, but may skip the dim sum part of the tour and head to Yank Sing on our own.

I did a Wok Wiz tour recently and it was just so much fun! Shirley Fong Torres is a vivacious, knowledgeable guide, so if you can book a tour that she guides herself, I'd recommend it. The tour is fast paced and interesting.
