Walking from Kiahuna Plantation to Baby Beach in the Poipu area

I'll be staying at Kiahuna Plantation this winter and just found out that a friend will be staying on Baby Beach at the same time. Can I walk to Baby Beach along the water, or will I need to walk back roads or drive? If I can walk, about how long will it take or how many miles is it between the two points? Thanks for your help.

You can walk along the road , it is about 1.5 miles. Very scenic (but hot!) walk. Easy 5-7 minute drive.

Thanks Vivi. The walk sounds good....I'll be there in March,so maybe it won't be too hot to walk comfortably.
I appreciate your helpful reply.

You can actually walk along the beach until up to and around the Sheraton and then a combination of beach/road along the water making it quite easy to dip into the ocean when necessary! Take me with you!!

Martha- When I said "walk along the road" I did not mean Poipu Rd which is busy, hot, and not scenic. Walk thru Kiahuna over to the Sheraton and then continue walking down that oceanfront residential street (Hoone, turns into Hoonani) til you cross the bridge, then turn left on Lawai Rd and then left again at Hoona. (Lots of "H" streets but it shouldn't be confusing.)
