Wailea or Ka'anapali in late January?

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are travelling to Maui for the first time in late Jan of next year. We hear it can rain a lot then. Is that enough of a worry to pick staying in Wailea over Ka'anapali? we are interested in staying at the Hyatt but could go further south if it is advisable--maybe to the Marriott? We like nice beaches, good restaurants, not interested in night life, and a nice fun pool area. We are travelling without kids. Thank you.
