Wailea Maui Restaurants

looking for dining suggestions in the Wailea,Maui area. Both casual and finer dining.

I love Nick's Fishmarket for finer dining.

Definitely one of my "must do" meals while in Maui, even when I stay on the West side.

Thank you, I had Nick's penciled in based on reviews & menu.

If it's open, you should try MiGrant, a new restaurant by Sheldon Simeon, head chef at Star Noodle, which might be my favorite restaurant on Maui.

Pretty venues, OK food, serving B,L,D: Gannon's (on a golf course above Wailea with a panoramic view); Five Palms (in the Mana Kai condo-tel on Keawakapu Beach on the Wailea/Kihei border). Dine in or outdoors at these two. On the expensive end: Capische? at the Wailea Hotel on a hill above the ocean. There's also Monkeypod Kitchen, Mulligan's on the Blue, and all the Wailea hotels have restaurants and bars. (I have less interest in Nick's or any other chain restaurant.)

Mala Wailea at the Marriott Wailea is good.

If you are willing to venture north into Kihei, I would try Sansei.

I hope MiGrant is open when we are there in February. :)
