Wailea- is this the hotel with boats to the rooms?
When I visited Maui ten years ago, I went to Wailea to check out hotels. I swear the Grand Wailea had boats that took you from the hotel lobby to rooms, and I remember seeing people and their luggage in boats and thinking how silly it looked. Now, when I am considering staying there, I don't see any mention of that. Does anyone here know which hotel it was that did this? ( My problem is trying to figure out if 2 middle-aged adults who can behave like children would be happy in this great big hotel with it's heavily promoted pool system.
