Wailea Beach Villas

Has anyone stayed there? It looks great. Which villas are near the family pool. I'd prefer a ground level room where we can open the doors and let the kids run around on the grass.

For the kind of money they charge for the these condos you could get a nice stand alone home on the beach in Wailea, Makena or South Kihei.

Good suggestion on the house, but there are only 3 of us and off season you can get them for ~$500 per night.

olesouthernbelle, you realize you are talking about two different islands, right?

No, sorry, thought it was Oahu.

Shark attacks are such a big deal on the news, that it seems as if it is common. But a family friend is a divemaster and tracks them, and they really are rare, especially if you avoid splashing about in shallow water during feeding times (dusk and dawn). Also a good idea to avoid the beach along the Florida east coast during the annual migration. You wouldn't believe the size of the schools.
