Waikiki Cappuccino/Expresso?

Hope this doesn't offend anyone but does anyone out there have recommendations for a good coffee place in Waikiki (and Maui)?
I'm a big fan of US culture and love Hawaii (that's why I'm going back!) but the coffee leaves a bit to be desired by Australian or Italian tastes.
It's not a criticism - just what youre used to - so I trust I'm forgiven for any unintended slight on such a hospitable destination.
Maybe it's just me, as the biggest US coffee chain is going great in Sydney!

I'm not offended, but can't think of an answer for you! I was in Waikiki last month, but the only coffee I had was the Kona brewed up in a king-size vat and served morning poolside at my hotel. Just can't remember if I saw espresso stands around???

Try the coffee house at the Sheraton Moana Surfrider (think it was called Honolulu Brewing Co. or something like that). We purchased Kona coffee beans there. Nice little place, good coffee, and also served gelato (which was good but not great).

Blue Sky Coffee
Glad you asked, I've wanted to post something about my favorite coffee in the state.

Kona Blue Sky Coffee

One place you can drink Blue Sky at is
Keo's Thai Cuisine on Kuhio and Kaiulani in Waikiki.

It’s served in a French Press and you can ask for it strong.

The last time I was in Waikiki there were an abundance of Starbucks all over the place, just like here at home. They have lots of yummy choices - hopefully they'll satisfy your caffeine tastes!
