Waikiki- best dive bars/restaurants
In Waikiki right now! Staying at Hilton Village. Looking for some cool dive bars and restaurants. Any advice?
|
Dukes can be fun.... especially if there's music
|
Dukes and "dive bar" simply don't connect for me.
I guess define dive bar? I have no Waikiki experience to offer. Like the question though |
Duke's isn't a dive bar, but it is fun!
|
I'm leaving for Waikiki tomorrow for a week! I don't know of any dive bars off the top of my head in Waikiki itself, so probably best in downtown Honolulu or Chinatown. In Waikiki, these aren't dive bars, but I wanted to visit these places anyways: Genius Lounge, Lewer's Lounge, the Study at the Modern, and two Tiki bars: Cukoo coconuts, and Arnold's Waikiki. I wish there were more tiki bars. I really like them.
Hope the weather is nice! |
Check around Kapiolani blvd, Kalihi area. A lot t of these places are getting pushed out because of the high rent in Honolulu.
Not a fan of Duke's, but the location cannot be beat. Have fun, the weather is pretty good. |
Certainly not a dive and not a bar, but a great strip mall restaurant for the very best breakfast and lunch in Honolulu is Bogart's on Monsarrat Avenue near Diamond Head. Check out the reviews on trip advisor and yelp. You will love the food and especially the staff at Bogart's!!!((r))
