Waikiki: 50th Anniversary Restaurant Suggestions for Mom and Dad
 

Hi all,
My parents will be celebrating their 50th anniversary in Waikiki in July. It will just be the two of the them on the trip. My wife and I will be celebrating with them upon their return, but I was hoping to give them a recommendation for where they can eat on their special day. Something not too far away from them or easy to get to (they are staying at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel), with a view perhaps as well? I have found the Hau Tree Lanai Restaurant at the New Otani as one possibility..but was wondering about some other ideas...! They aren't hugely adventurous eaters.

La Mer at the Halekulani would be a really special place to celebrate a 50th anniversary.

We celebrated our 56th anniversary in April at the top of the Ilikai Hotel, at Sarento's, a lovely Italian restaurant. We got there before dark and the view was fantastic. Service was excellent and the food both delicious and well presented. We enjoyed the music of a very talented pianist during dinner. Dessert was our anniversary gift from the restaurant.

I love the Hau Tree Lanai restaurant,in my opinion that would be an excellent and very romantic place for the celebration dinner.
