Wagon train in Houston this Saturday before the rodeo
We heard that there will be a wagon train of people arriving at Reliant Stadium on Saturday, and that it is a great photo op. I have Googled but haven't been able to find any info on this. Is there a good place to watch the wagon train come in? What time should I get there to watch it? Thanks in advance!

It's called a trail ride, not a wagon train--that's why you may not have found out anything on google. Try googling "Salt Grass Trail Ride." There are lots of pictures. There are a bunch of trail rides, and the Salt Grass is the oldest one, I think. They come east on Memorial Drive and spend the night in Memorial Park. You see trail riders all over town on Friday--also people in western clothes (for maybe the only time all year). It might work to just keep your camera handy. Other possibility is to come to Memorial Park in workout clothes and with your camera and walk up and down the jogging trail as the riders come in.
