no lava flowing into the ocean or on the surface as of now. could change at any time.

Thanks for the link. We're going in August to the BI and Maui. It will be interesting to see what happens between now and then.

6/20- most of the roads in the park are closed to traffic. you can stop at the visitor center and volcano house but not much more than that. no park entry fees.

not really karameli. the lava broke out in a forest section very briefly, but the lava stopped completely and all is quiet again today.
