Visiting USA-where to buy a Flag?

I'm visiting Southern California from Switzerland and would like to bring back with me a USA flag for my husband who was born in America. What type of stores should I frequent to find a flag for purchase? I thank you for your help. Sonya

Sonya,

Try a hardware store, a small one or one of the DIY places like Home Depot or Lowes.

Flags are definately very common and visable these days, patriotism is in high gear. I'm sure you won't have any trouble picking one up. Most any hardware store or chain store that sells general merchandise would have one. There's also the local yellow pages if there are none that are readily apparent.

Also try Wal-Mart, K-Mart or Target stores.

You're not going to have any problem find one.

Utahtea

You may even see one in the grocery stores. They are everywhere. You won't have a problem in obtaining one at all in the U.S.A.

When you are in the airport! They sell them in the stationary stores.

Thank you. I am near by to Target and Home Depot and will stop to purchase a flag. Thank you.

Sonya,

Just so you know there are American Flags that fly on flag poles and there are banner types. We bought both my Father and Father-in-Law new flags for Father's day and one had the banner type and one had the flag type.

Utahtea
