visiting St. Augustine and Delray Beach

Looking for hotels in these areas in late January and February....if near the beach within a reasonable price and clean too would be great! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi dustqueen

I'd recommend staying in the historic part of Saint Augustine rather than by the beach, particularly in late January and February. The historic part has so many activities within easy walking distance; Saint George Street and the charming nearby side streets have street musicians and inviting restaurants. There are historic sites galore, of which the Castillo de San Marcos and the Lightner Museum were incredible. I stayed at the Penny Farthing Inn, which I would recommend if you don't mind a B&B type ambience (a B&B in my opinion is a great way to see Saint Augustine), although there are plenty of other well-respected B&Bs around to choose from.

Have a great trip, Daniel
