Visiting Kalaupapa on Molokai
 

I've lived in Hawaii yet never made it to Molokai. I've always wanted to tour the old lepers' (now called Hansen's Disease) on the Kalaupapa Coast. This can be done my mule, plane, or helicopter, and I'm wondering if anyone has done this recently?

Your only option to tour Kalaupapa right now is via small plane. The trail was washed out several months ago and it doesn't sound like it will be repaired anytime soon.
I rode the mules down a couple of years ago. The bus tour around the peninsula is well worth it.
