Visiting Charlotte--need great restaurant!

Hi!
My husband and I are visting Charlotte next weekend. Can anyone recommend 3 or 4 great restaurants in the area? We are looking for someplace on the nicer side in the $20-$30 an entree price range. Thanks so much for your help.

Don't miss the Miro -- Spanish cuisine with wonderful tapas.

Lavecchias for seafood (Uptown). Ethan's for eclectic (Elizabeth). Cibi's for romantic (Elizabeth). Guytano's for Italian (Southend). Vidalia & Grape (East Blvd.).

All good choices so far--Guytano's is not in South End any more but out near South Park. It is EXCELLENT. Our favorite restaurant is Patou--a truly authentic French bistro--on Park Road. Other choices --Zebra, across from South Park, Upstream at Phillips Place (owned by the same people as Mimosa Grill)for seafood. For a less expensive meal but excellent Italian food --Mama Ricotta's on Kings Drive. For a steak try Sullivan's in South End.
For an after dinner stop Dean & Deluca has a wine bar with piano across from their store in Phillips Place--great wine by the glass.
Oh, and of course, Bonterra in Dilworth. It is in an old church, have great wine by the glass and a truly wonderful menu.
