Visa to Canada
 
Need some help here, I am a US citizin , My wife is a permanent resident (green Card) here in the US. She has her passport from the Philippines ( passport from Philippines). Will we need to get her a visa to go to Canada for about four days???

US green card holders do not need a visa to visit Canada.

Citizens of the following countries and territories require a Visa to VISIT or TRANSIT Canada:

Pakistan
Palau
Palestinian Authority
Panama
Paraguay
Peru
Philippines

I understand this as yes, a visa is needed. The green card gives you the right to come back to the US. Entering Canada, they want to know where you have a citizenship, not a temporary permission to live.
