My plan now is to go direct to Richmond Saturday, stay there Saturday night to see it on Sunday. I'll stay in Williamsburg Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evening (got a res at Governors Inn.) Wednesday I'll go see Charlottesville and Monticello then drive home.

I'm thinking instead of going the Cape May route, I'll take I-95 to Wilmington then 301 to Richmond. I'll leave late Friday night. Do you think this will avoid traffic?

I can use some restaurant recommendations for Richmond and Williamsburg. The dinners at CW seem a little expensive , are they worth it?

Also, what to see in Richmond besides the art museum (favorite neighborhoods.)
