VIP/Pit Nascar Attire?

I just found out that I'm going to a Nascar race this weekend in Charlotte, NC. I have VIP/pit passes. What kind of thing do you wear? I do not follow Nascar.

Hello?

I just loooove these fashion questions :)

Male - pressed khakis, golf shirt, loafers, windbreaker if cool or raining. (It may rain here Sat.)
If you have parties to attend, I'd go with a starched white dress shirt instead of the golf shirt.

Female - Navy or black linen capris and flats with a long-sleeved cotton sweater and light jacket.

I think for safety reasons you have to have long pants and closed toe shoes.

Thanks for the reply! I honestly was at a loss and would have worn open toed shoes without the warning.

Actually your choice of cooler is a far more burning issue. Your tee shirt, by the way, should say something automotive. Don't, whatever you do, wear some kicky political thing. NASCAR is conservative. And if you smoke, take them - the smoking light will be lit. Start your engines!
