Victoria Island exursions help

If anyone went to Victoria Island in Alaska, we're going on a Royal Caribbean cruise and stopping there. Is it nice? What good excursions are there?
Thanks! :)

Victoria is a city on Vancouver Island, Canada. How much time do you have? Top tours are Butchart Gardens and orca whale watching, but the Inner Harbor is very walkable.

Curiosity got the best of me so I googled Victoria Island. I found such a place in Nigeria, but I don't think you will be stopping there. :-)

If you indeed are referring to the Victoria mentioned by BudgetQueen, I highly recommend Buchart Gardens.

I agree about the two above mentioned tours. They are great and it depends on what you prefer. There is a 3rd choice too if it suits you and thats high tea at the Empress. We did the whale tour and we'll never forget it. These are magnificient creatures. However it all depends on what you like to do. You have some good choices. :-)

Actually Victoria Island is in Canada - it's the second largest island in the Arctic archipelago. But I don't think it's on RCC's ports of call list just yet. Pity.

Note to the OP, many cruise itineraries arrive in Victoria in the evening, so depending on when you visit, you may find the time ashore a bit limiting for excursions.
