Venetian, Caesar's or FS?

Going to Las Vegas in early Jan. for a getaway. We are middle-aged and looking for a high-end hotel in good location. Looking to relax, eat, shop, see art exhibit at Bellagio, we aren't into gambling. Had hoped to stay at Bellagio but it's full. Looking at Caesar's palace tower or Venetian Bella suite but they are both aound $250/nite. Can get a room at FS for less thru AAA. We've stayed there before and loved the quiet but prefer mid-strip location. Are Caesar's and Venetian worth these prices? We will spend time in the room but still this seems high for LV. Any suggestions?

Who can say if a room is worth that price? What is it worth to you? What is your budget? The rooms at the Venetian are very nice, the bathrooms are fabulous. I was there last January and am going again this January but it is for a convention and my company booked the room and is paying for it. No, the room is not worth it to me for $250, especially if I can get one for possibly half the price across the street at the Mirage which is very nice too, but no Venetian. Look at the Venetian webpage and you can get a pretty good idea of what you are getting. It's a very subjective decision as to what's "worth it".

What is FS?

Personally, I take the FS over anything else. I love the fact that it is it's own little bastion of quietness. The service is fantastic, no huge crowds at the pool, easy to get in and out without fighting your way through a casino. But, then, through a door and you're in the heart of excitement.

Returned last night from the Venetian. Had a suite in the Venezia tower with a separate check in area.
Our room was lovely which was great because I was there to work and planned to spend all my spare time in the room.
Nice service, friendly and helpful staff. I do not like Vegas that much and my room was very peaceful, overlooking the pool/courtyard area with 2 TV's and highspeed internet. Bathroom was great, big tub and a 3 head shower. Beds were comfortable, too.
It was cool in Vegas but people were still swimming and not looking cold, so the outdoor pools must be heated.
I would stay there again!!!

Our room at the Venezia tower in the Venetian Hotel last year ranks as one of my top 5 hotels stays ever! The room is so fun and pretty! It's a $300 room at least in any other city!
I'd be very happy to go back!

Jasmine: FOUR SEASONS!

At that time Cindvd, you are going to find all hotels pricey, not a good time to go, but definitely FS, even though it's farther down the strip, but it may be worth it.

I recently booked a Venezia tower suite for about $149/night. Look at the Venetian Hotel web site and click on "Suite-est Rate" and you'll get Bella suite and Venezia suites rates for $129--169 or so, depending on room type and day of the week. Only drawback is you have to pay it all in advance, and it's nonrefundable.

I paid 99.00/night for a Venezia suite. Somehow they got my email address and I get a new promo every week. See if you can register on the Venetian website.
