Vegetarian Looking for Help?

Are there any good Veggie places in New Orleans?

Sally, Here's a link to a list of "Best Vegetarian" restaurants in New Orleans from http://neworleans.citysearch.com:

http://neworleans.citysearch.com/best/ballot/97

I'd try them myself, except I'm all the way over on the West coast. Hope this helps...

Old Dog, New Trick offers a creative lunch menu, and it's in a quiet little alley away from most of the tourist madness. The Gumbo Shop does a nice vegetarian gumbo.

La Madeline is a nice little bakery/eatery that has good salads and pastries. Great for a light lunch or brunch. It's on Jackson Square.

I'd have to second the recommendation about Old Dog, New Trick. We were very impressed with the food. Port Of Call put together a special mushroom and cheese sandwich for my vegetarian friend, Felix's in the Quarter has a fairly extensive selection of non-meat side dishes that can be put together
for a meal and Napoleon House had at least three or four different entrees without meat.
