Vegetarian Friendly Restaurants in Naples, FL

Any suggestions for vegetarian friendly (ie does not have to be all vegetarian but just 1-2 entrees or willing to omit meat from dishes) restaurants in Naples, FL? Thanks!

As a vegetarian (but not a vegan) myself, I think virtually any restaurant in Naples would do the trick, especially if fish is OK. We had lunch at a Mexican place in the main "downtown" shopping and dining area that was very nice--sorry, II can't recall the name, and I hope residents will be able to provide more detail, but I doubt the veggy thing will be an issue.

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunatley, yes fish does qualify as "non-vegetarian" (I've always been curious to as why fish would not be considered such?). If you happen to remember, please let us know...we were hoping for at least one or two dinners (we're there for 4 days) to have some concrete ideas and for lunch figure we can just walk around and find places as they come.

Fair enough about the fish--everyone just draws the line idiosyncratically, I guess! I will ask my fellow-diners if they recall the name of the Mexican place...

My nephew won't eat anything with a face: fish have faces, oysters and clams and mussels don't.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), we follow the theory that all animals (mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and other sea creatures that have nervous systems, hearts, etc.) are "non-vegetarian" - though I guess this post is a lesson on specificity

Perhaps surprisingly, we still manage to eat pretty well since most places are accomodating.

That being said, would still love to hear from anyone who has suggestions for places that vegetarians may fare particularly well at. Thanks again!

The mexican restaurant is called Meson Ole, if memory serves me correctly. It has just relocated to 5th Ave South.

This link might help you:

As part of each restaurant profile, they specify the number of veggie dishes offered. For example, UFood Grill offers 12.
