Vegas suite hotel for mom and baby?

We may be traveling to Las Vegas to adopt a baby and will need to stay for two weeks to satisfy legal requirements. Do you have recommendations for a specific area and a decent suite-style hotel as I would need a room with kitchen facilities or at least a fridge and microwave? I don't need to be where the action is, just in a clean safe location.

Thanks for your help!

Hllo JAK, if you go onto Google and type in "long term residential hotels Las Vegas NV" you will find many websites that should be of interest to you. One of the first websites is the Marriott.

Best wishes to you and your family. A special family in my life recently adopted a baby and they too needed accomodations as you did although in a different part of the US.

I hope this helps a bit. Again, my best wishes and also my prayers for you both and your soon to be child.

You might also consider renting a timeshare property. There are quite a few in Vegas, and almost all of them have full kitchens. Look at www.tug2.net for the classified ads. You may be lucky enough to find two weeks at the same place that you can rent back-to-back so you won't have to move!

The Residence Inn Las Vegas South is in a nice location and is a fairly new property. Rate includes a daily breakfast. Good luck!

Staybridge Suites, Residence Inns etc, are good choices.

Also, have you looked at www.VRBO.com? I'm sure you could find a condo for two weeks which would be much nicer than a hotel.

Also, check with Vegas real estate companies for vacation rentals.

Good luck and congrats!

The new Platinum hotel looks nice. It's a new condo/hotel where you might be able to get a good long term rate.

Thank you, thank you all so much for all your help! This is exactly the info. I was looking for. I do think it will need to be a hotel, not a condo though, as we can't plan ahead for exact dates as we don't know what day the baby plans to arrive.

Once again, thanks to all who gave me great information. Unfortunately, the situation did not work out. I guess we can now continue our plans for our trip to London in March.
