Vegas-Show Recommendations
HI
My husband and I will be spending 4 days in Vegas next month. There are so many shows. Any recommendations would be appreciated. We already have tickets for Elton John (my birthday present). Also, any other recommendations to do/see/shop would be great. My husband plans to go race car driving! Thanks. |
My husband and I will be in Vegas at the end of March, and we bought tickets to Cirque du Soleil - The Beatles LOVE show. We have heard nothing but rave reviews since buying the tickets, and I'm really looking forward to it. It is at the Mirage. We got a discount at Vegas.com.

We loved Mystere:
http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/sho...e/default.aspx We'll be in Vegas in about 10 days, and like ontheog919, we've bought tickets to LOVE. Can't wait, I've heard so many good things about it. The cheapest tickets I found were on the Mirage website - they periodically run specials. |
We like all the Cirque shows - and about the only one we haven't seen is Love/The Beatles - which we hope to see next time.
Also check the kiosks along the strip - Discounts 4 Less, for deals on different types of shows. We also love afternoon magic/comedy shows - a great value. |
Agree about the Cirque shows--have seen Love, Mystere and O, can't go wrong with one of those.

Mystery is still my favorites of the Cirque shows, but O is a close second. I have not seen Love or Zarkana. Zumanity was my least favorite, and I saw that week before last.

The Jacksons ( the Jackson 5 without Michael) just started a show in a smaller theater at Planet Hollywood. I was there for opening night this week. Mrs. Jackson was there to see her sons in the new show.
it was very very good. Choreography was incredible, Everyone in the theater was close enough to see them sweat! The music was great. They did a tribute to Michael also. Very high energy show. This is going to be a popular show. It is in the Rocktales and Cocktails series so it won't play for a long time. |
