vegas shopping

i haven't been to vegas in a while. i like to check out the high fashion stores, but my mom wants lower-priced stuff. i want to hear from people who've been to vegas and know the shopping. where should we go?

There are a couple of malls, Miracle Mile & Cesar shops, my tip, is if you have a AAA card, you can get discount coupons at the info desk for many of the stores as well as eateries in these two places.

Fashion Place Mall has Macys, Nordstroms, and the usual mall stores. There are 2 outlet malls. We took public transit to the one that is closer a couple miles from the Stratosphere.

If you go into any of the newer casinos you will not be able to avoid in-your-face shops selling over-priced unnecessaries. Bargains are harder to come by in Las Vegas.
