Vegas Salvage Yard?

I was reading some older posts regarding Vegas and found one where it was recommended to go the Vegas salvage yard to take an "iconic" picture. It was mentioned that this is where all the old Vegas signs go "to die" until a collector buys them.. Is this a real place, and if so, where is it?? (I don't know how to get the link to the other post or I would post it.) THANKS!

Dear Tricia:

I can't tell you how to get to this place. But I saw it on the travel channel last week: Anthony Boudrain "No Reservations". You may want to check the Travel Channel website for info.

Appointments to visit the Boneyard can be made by calling (702) 387-6366.
The Neon Museum can be visited at www.neonmuseum.org.

I've seen the neon "museum" and was disappointed since it's only a few signs with plaques, but thanks! I'll call the Boneyard and see if I can't track something down on the Travel Channel site.. Thanks!

I keep replying to my own post.. hmm.. anyway, I found the BoneYard's website (and it is the salvage yard I was talking about) and it costs $50.00 per group to see it.. not sure if it's worth it for the 4 people we're gonna have, but thanks anyway! :)
