Vegas Pools Open in November?
I'm going to Vegas next week and the forcast says 70's. Do the pools in Vegas stay open during the winter months? I'm staying at the Palms hotel.
Thanks!

You guys think that is bad, that the hotel pools are already closed....We live here in Vegas and we frequent the community/rec center pools & waterparks. They close for the season, the day before school starts. So, for example school this year started Aug. 30, the last day the pool was open was Aug. 29! They were open on the Sat. & Sun. of Labor Day weekend, but as you probably know it is still well in the 100's into September...so yes we are still sweltering in Sept. and Oct. and no pools to go to.
They do this because the majority of their lifeguards are high school students.

I just came back from LV yesterday... the pools were still open from 10am or 11am until 5pm... BUT I tell you it was too cold for any dip in the pool.
Bring warm clothing....the weather is very sporatic...first 2 days were quite cool but the last 2 days were warm...but very cool in the evening.

Some are, some aren't, just call your hotel in advance. We were at the Sahara three years ago in November (around the 10th), and the pool was still open. Although it was only in the upper 60's, so only my son went swimming. It was heated, yet he was the only one in the pool.
