Vegas nightclub suggestion
 

I need some nightclubs recommendations for me (late 20's) and my mom (early 50's) to enjoy together. Mom is pretty hip so she would like almost anything. We went to Club Rio last trip and had a blast. But someplace like Ra is not her style. Any suggestions? Any word on Rain or ghostbar at the Palms? Oh, we loved the Voodoo at Rio also. Thanks!

We are going this Sunday to the Rum Jungle at Mandalay Bay...apparently it is a pretty hot spot. A big group of us are going for dinner (late 20s-30s), thus dodging the ridiculous cover charge. Wherever you go...have fun!

These are not your typical night clubs w/a dj but we enjoy them:

the Brewery at Monte Carlo, live bands, wide range of rock/pop music.

Also Cleopatra's Barge in Ceasars Palace, live bands, type of music varies.

A friend of mine just returned from vegas. He is a little bit older than I am so he doesn't watch to much hip (ridiculous) tv as us younger folks. He went to palms and went to rain and ghost bar before he knew it was the "real world" hang out. He had a blast. He also checked out some smaller bars which had great drink prices along with really great live bands.

Oh, good to hear. We are also going with my Aunt and 16 yr old cousin, so even though she can't get into Rain and ghostbar, I told her I'd check it out and give her the "Real World" report!
