First, you must visit the site www.lasvegas.com. Go to show guide and entertainment. They will give you a calendar of entertainers by the month at all the major casinos. We have been to Vegas the last three years. We really hitting a variety of shows. I would recommend Danny Gans at the Rio. He is highly rated for his singing comedy rendition of all the great stars. It was worth every penny. They also have their famous "World Carnival Buffet" which is great too. Manadalay Bay has a new Broadway show as well as the House of Blues. Check their website for more info. We love the magician, Lance Burton, at the MOnte Carlo. It's a great bang for your buck ($35) Our boys went to Treasure Island
big extravanganza and praised it highly. There are plenty of free shows that are also a MUST. e-mail if you want for information. Vegas is a HIT!!!

We´ve been to Vegas last year. "Cirque du Soleil" at Treasure Island was superb! It costed about US$80, but was worthy. They have a site www.cirquedusoleil.com through which you can get advanced tickets. Don´t loose it!
We hated the Magicians Siegfried and Roy at Mirage. The production was OK, but too expensive and we could see the tricks.

If you have not yet seen "Forever Plaid", it is wonderful 50s music in a cute little play at the Flamingo Hilton lounge. I agree with Cirque du Soleil and Danny Gans.

"O", at the Bellagio, is well worth the $100 price of the ticket.

My parents and grandmother RAVED for DAYS about the Siegfried and Roy show.

Danny Gans and Rio management in contract dispute, they have raised the price of his show and he may not be there much longer. "O," Cirque du Soleil are musts
Marina, we'll be in Vegas at the same time. However, we've been going there for about 12 years...we've seen "Mystere", the Cirque du Soleil show at Treasure Island and it's amazing; our last visit we saw EFX at MGM with Tommy Tune and really enjoyed seeing him in person. (Actually we've seen both of these shows twice,) This visit we're going to see "O" at Bellagio which is where we're staying - it's another Cirque du Soleil production. Danny Gans is supposed to be great, too. I've checked the other shows going on at the moment and there's no star in particular whom I want to see. Hey, it's Vegas, and everything's exciting! Have a good time; maybe we'll run into each other!!
Marina,

I saw Tom Jones at the MGM in February with my mother. We had a blast! Get tickets ahead of time. I have seen him 3 times and he has always been a class act.

The "O" was the best show I've ever seen in Vegas - it is FABULOUS - well worth the price! MUST GO!

Don't waste your time or money on "Lord of the Dance". It is, in my opinion, just a $55 karoke event.

The sound is canned. No live music. We couldn't be sure if the sound we were hearing came from the singers and dancers or from the pre-recorded tapes.

If this is common practice for Las Vegas shows, I wouldn't bother seeing any of them.
