Vegas hotel rates in November

Hi I am planning a trip to Vegas Thanksgiving week. Looking to book Wednesday thru the Following Tuesday. I have found rates at both Aladdin, Luxor and Paris they vary between $100 for the 5 nights. My question is would you book any of them now or hold out for posibly lower rates in the future? Are most of the pools closed at that point in time? The cheapest rates I found for the above hotels were on their own websites. Any help appreciated.

I would book now just to hold the rooms. If rates go down, you could always cancel and re-book. I've been to Vegas over Thanksgiving and it is fairly crowded.

If I remember correctly, the pools will be closed. Even if open, your chances of having sunbathing temps at that time of year are not good. The average highs are in the low-mid 60s by the end of November and lows in the 30s.

I would go ahead and book it now and then check to see if the rates go down. If so, cancel your original reservation and book a new one at the lower rate. I assume that you will be going with someone else: spouse, freins, etc. so that way you can rebook under another name if and when the price drops.

i agree with carder. book now to hold the room, check later for lower rates. check also on biddingfortravel.com and see what people are getting for rooms that week, then you may want to bid on a strip property. of the 3 you mentioned aladdin would be the best combination of nice room/nice casino/nice location.

We booked for the Bellagio for Thanksgiving week and the prices using the Players Club were $129 during the week. I think the pools are closed.
Also-book restaurants as soon as possible, and any shows you might want to see. The hotel told me that people drive in from LA and spend the holiday and it can be quite crowded.
Have fun!
