Best Hotels in Vegas for a bachelorette party.... (8 people)
We are looking for a nice hotel with casino, good pools, good entertainment...

Give me your best recommendations and I will check them out...

Budget?

We don't really have a set budget yet...we are willing to work it out for what will be the best option... Probably around $200 a night give or take a few..

You need to do more research regarding shows, bars, etc for hotels on the Strip (and off). The resources are available.

There are numerous hotels and about 18 of the 25 largest hotels in the WORLD are in Vegas. Any of those can easily handle a mere 8 people.

I just got back from Vegas, actually. You have a lot of choices and you'll need to get the planning started immediately. Especially if the festivities will be over a weekend. If there's a convention or major event in town, rooms can get very expensive very quickly.

I will start with my #1 choice: The Mirage. Big, not over-the-top ostentatious but still Vegas-flashy, clean and comfortable rooms, dead-center Strip location. The casino is big and runs the gamut of games (note: I find the slots quite tight), they have good restaurants there, the in-house Cirque show (LOVE) is my favorite, they've got several watering holes, the in-house resident musical act is Boys II Men (if you like that kind of smooth soul music) and there are always cabs to take you to other venues. And the pool areas are gorgeous there.

If you don't mind south-Strip, the pool at Mandalay Bay is awesome. The resort itself gets pretty high marks, plus it has a Four Seasons at the top of the hotel tower, so you can go really high-end for the bachelorette in question. It also puts you closer to the all-male revue at Excalibur, Thunder Down Under, if you feel like indulging in such a show. Hey, whatever floats one's boat, I always say.

Our last visit was to Paris Las Vegas. We enjoyed the theming and the great casino (despite the smoke), plus their bistro Mon Ami Gabi was, frankly, stupendous (and we got a terrace table during the Bellagio fountain show across the Strip). The room was comfortable and very clean, and the staff were amazing. Having said that, the rooms and hotel hallways are looking a bit tired, so I imagine they will be doing some refreshing soon. The pool area is lovely but a bit ordinary compared to other properties, but it does have cabanas.

The newer casino resorts might be possibilities, although they will test your price point on weekend dates. I'm talking about the swank Aria and the stylish Cosmopolitan, which have panache and a bit of cheeky attitude that might do quite nicely for a bachelorette group.

It's really hard to say without a bit more information from you. Are you looking for luxury? Or maybe a more old-Vegas vibe? Will this be a "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" kind of weekend? Let us know your tastes and limits...!! ;)

I would consider Palazzo/Venetian, for the room sizes, and clubs/fun lounges for the age group.

Best advice I would give, is to check out Trip Advisor, Las Vegas forum. You will find a hundred threads about bachelorette parties. :)
