Vegas for Vegetarians

B4 I offended people, you can eat as much meat as you want. I dont eat meat for other reasons.
That being said, I am looking for a few good restaurants (med-high, but not outrageous prices) that have good Veggie options, pasta, salads, even some fish - not shellfish though!
Although some of the high end Steak houses sound great - just not for us!
Any suggestions would be appreciated!!
THANX

I like Chinois (Wolfgang Puck chinese in the Caesar's Palace forum shoppes) and Canaletto (an Il Fornaio restaurant in the Venetian Canal Shoppes area). California Pizza Kitchen in the Mirage and Grand Luxe Cafe in the Venetian have great salads.

Most of these all have menus online.

Brijax, here is an expression for you: "I am a vegetarian not because I love animals. I am a vegetarian because I hate plants" :)

Anyway, I don't eat meat nor shellfish. Never had a problem in Vegas. Most places now offer salads, salmon, veggie pizza, pastas. If not, you can ask to prepare it for a vegetarian, for example, no bacon on that baked potato.

Don't worry, food will not be a problem.

Had a wonderful vegetarian meal at Andre's (in Monte Carlo) - the best veggie meal I've had in Vegas yet. Olives (Bellagio) is also a decent dining option for vegetarians...Black olive pasta with goat cheese was quite tasty!

I second OLIVES!!! Their ravoilis filled w/mushrooms and other veggies are just to die for- the sauces are so light and inviting and sensual. And they always have a vegetarian soup- usually a pumpkin or squash or tomatoe soup. GREAT stuff for a vegetarian or not.

Thanks for the ideas! They all sound great and worth trying.

I would think you could certainly find food you like at any of the buffets in 'Vegas. I am not a buffet person but the few times we've done buffets in 'Vegas the food options seem to be endless. The Spice Market at the Aladdin had something for everyone for example (including wonderful desserts).
