Vegas family friendly hotel/outing

Arriving from RV trip at national parks late morning of Friday, October 9. Need to kill time until our flight out of Las Vegas Saturday morning. Any recommendations on family friendly hotel (3 kids ages 9-13) and something to do that afternoon/evening? We don't drink, smoke, gamble, etc.

Go to the Springs Preserve. Interesting history of Las Vegas with hands-on exhibits for kids.

Stay at the Weston at Lake Las Vegas. Pools, fire pits, kayaks, paddle boards... Nice hotel with great breakfast! No smoke, no gambling. Just ten minutes off the strip if you want to drive past the nightlife!

Lake Las Vegas is not ten minutes off the strip, it's about 35, maybe 30 to the airport. But 35 mins FURTHER than LV if they happen to be coming from Zion.

Some hotels charge $35 extra per kid so you probably want to avoid those, especially since rates are pretty high that evening to begin with (October is convention month).

My suggestion would be the SpringHill Suites near the convention center. Easy on the budget & they have rooms with 2queens and a sofa bed/ free breakfast. No smoking & no casino. You'll enjoy the rooftop pool with view of Vegas, and they have a shuttle to the Fashion Mall on the strip. From there you can walk & see the volcano, pirate show, little aquarium...the dolphin habitat etc.
