vail accomodations

We are a family of 5 and would like to stay in a condo unit in Vail or Lionshead area. Does anyone have any suggestions- Vantage Point? Lionshead townhomes??? Nothing too pricey- or is everything in Vail overpriced? Thanks

Depending on when you are going, you might be too late for condo..Lionshead is a great location near lift etc.

I much prefer Vail Village to Lionshead. I lived there several years ago, and Vail Village just has a more quaint feel to it. It seems like there's a Holiday Inn sort in the Village that's not too pricey. Not sure how much it is, though.

Cindy - If you're willing to stay on the bus route (free) but not right in town, you can drop cost significantly. Fallridge on the golf course about a mile away or the Vail Racquet Club about 3-4 miles away are good choices. Vantage Point is close, but generally pretty basic. All the condos are individually owned - so one could have been remodeled last year, another in '72! Request a nicer unit. (won't guarantee, but it won't hurt either) I haven't heard of the Lionshead townhomes - do you mean the Landmark Townhomes? Similar location and level of accommodation. b
