Vacationing In Ebensburg, PA

I am considering taking my family to Ebensburg, PA for a week long vacation. What can I expect from the town and what attractions are easily reached?

I live in PA and have never heard of Ebensburg. What part of the state is it???

Well you could go to Raystown Lake, or you could go to see where the Johnstown Flood occured, or you could go visit Penn State main campus. Or maybe you're going to visit your family and you won't need to see any of these.

What a troll!!!

I am not a troll. My cousin has a boat on Lake Raystown. I think the lake has a town underneath it.......

Ebensburg is in Cambria County.
If I remember correctly, there is a museum about the Johnstown Flood in Johnstown that was kind of interesting. But I don't remember much else around Ebensburg. Maybe just plan on kicking back and relaxing???

Johnstown , PA is about 30 mins away. You will be about 1 1/2 hours away from Pittsburgh. There isn't much to do there. Maybe take a short drive to St. Francis college and take a look at the quaint mansion and grounds where the priests live. There's the Johnstown Flood Museum as mentioned above and the Inclined Plane attraction. Kennywood theme park is probably about an hour away, close to Pittsburgh. A week may be a long time to spend there unless you're with family. Hope this helps.
