Vacation with teen
 

Our son wants to go "someplace hot" for about 4 or 5 days in late June. Would Palm Springs or San Diego be a good place -- is there enough to keep an 18 year old busy. Thanks for any help

That was a good one! In this case 'hot' meaning really warm.

There's probably more things for a teenage boy to do in San Diego than in Palm Springs, unless he's really into golf or the desert. Also, the temperatures in Palm Springs will be soaring in to the high '90's and 100's around that time of year.

San Diego definitely offers a lot more than Palm Springs does.

Agree. Other than Spring Break, the average age in Palm Springs is probably 50 something unless he loves to golf!
