Vacation with a 3yr old
 

Does anyone have any ideas on where to take a 3yr old on vacation? We live in Dallas and do not want to drive more than 6-8 hrs. We would be going the first week of June. Originally we had planned on a Gulf Shores or Biloxi beach vacation, but since the oil spill, that idea doesnt look so good. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

How about the Texas coast, such as Galveston? I am making this suggestion because it sounds like you were looking for a beach vacation. Your child might enjoy seeing Moody Gardens. We all got a kick out of the Duck Tour. Galveston is a very nice town with a lot of history. I also recommend the dolphin tours.

Melissa, I saw your other thread and it would have been OK to say you CAN'T STAND Galveston on this one. I won't bother you any more but good luck in finding what you need.
