Vacation Ideas
 

My sister and I need some suggestions on places to go for a long weekend (Fri-Sun) in August. We live in NY (Long Island) and don't want to spend a huge amount of money (no more then $300-400). We love traveling and are always up for new places. Some of our ideas are Nantucket, Cape Code, Virginia Beach, New Orleans, Las Vegas and Key West. Some of the places I listed may not be worth going to for a long weekend (half the time would be spent flying). Any ideas would be appreciated!!! Thanks!

if you liked KW in August, then I'd suggest New Orleans. Similar weather and similar "fun" atmosphere.

With only 3 days, I'd pick a place I could drive to. How about Boston or<BR>Block Island? What do you two like to do - are you looking for a party atmosphere or something more relaxing?

Another vote for Mass. - try cape Ann- rockport
