UWS pour dejeuner?

Do any of you aristos have a suggestion as to where Thin and friend can have lunch this coming Wednesday on the UWS of Manhattan?

Please don't recommend per se, s'il vous-plait. :)

Looking for a mid-range restaurant near the MNH.

Thanks,
Thin

Nugatine, although it is as close as you may like

on the UWS - Nice - a french bistro.

Ocean Grill for seafood, Nice Matin for bistro, Dovetail for new American.

Nougatine? Adu, that is nowhere near the MNH.

Has anyone ever eaten at Cafe Citron?

Nice looks nice. :)

Thank you,
Thin

Nougatine is a walk, but they have a $24 lunch special and it will be the best food - although Bar Bouloud is a little closer and I've had two really good meals there, too. Nice Matin is close and reliable. I thought Dovetail was good but REALLY expensive. The other end of the spectrum is the new UWS location of Shake Shack, of course (the image of Thin in Shake Shack is priceless, yes?) Isabella's, Josie's, Citrus are also reliable. Not exciting, but reliable. What about Salumeria Rosi, Cesare Casella's new place at 73rd and Amsterdam?

Nougatine? Adu, that is nowhere near the MNH.

Feet, subway, or cab would work

For your information, Senorita Cosa, I have been eating at Shake Shack in Madison Square Park for years (and afterwards I go buy Jo Malone candles in the Flatiron Building).

So there.

Do you really think I am a horrid snob?

I am just an average joe.

Seniorita Cosa? ummm . . ok . . . I've never thought you are a snob, Thin . . . just . .. refined. But Shake Shack transcends all, I guess.

Then a dirt water dog and pretzel on the steps of MNH, should do it. Not very far to travel.
