How about Mesa Verde, RMNP, and some other Colorado mountain detinations? They are so much more pleasant in summer. We visited Arches and Canyonlands a couple of weeks ago and it was already hot.

Thanks, all.

Bob Brown: We went to Yellowstone, Glacier and Grand Tetons last summer. We are smitten with the west, and would do all of them again, including the Grand Canyon, except that I want my son (and me, too) to see as much of the West/Northwest/everywhere as possible.

My husband and I are "old" parents, and I want to get as much in as possible before the old folks home!!
