Fmpden and ggreen...thanks for the input. You have given us food for thought and we are not totally decided on PC, DV or even Utah. One issue is the cost. We already understood that airfare from Atlanta to SLC was going to be pricier, but figured we would make up the difference on fewer days. But, as I look more into lodging, ski rental and lifts, it is significantly more expensive than what I have encountered in CO (of course we look for the best deals). The other is we do REALLY love the long blues at Breck and Keystone. And I agree with your comments on Snowmass. I have only been there once but it was incredible. However, the food/restaurants were quite expensive, there wasn't the "town" feel that you get in Breckenridge and Steamboat Springs, and its tough to get there---either expensive flights or a long drive from Denver. Plus, we have the altitude issue to deal with. Well, there are always tradeoffs. I will also look into Alta and Snowbird.

Snowmass is a part of the Aspen complex so nothing is cheap. But it is the best cruising mountain and I have skied a bunch.

If over all cost is a concern, you might try staying in Frisco. When we stay in the mountains especially with a group we always stay in Frisco. Frisco is more conveniently located -- 10 miles to Breck, Keystone, and Copper. And hourly bus service to all areas. Lodging is a better value but you do have to drive or bus to each ski area. And only 35 mins from Vail. And Frisco probably is another 1000 ft lower if altitude is a problem.

Feel free to contact me off line if you have oher CO questions or limited questions for Park City.
