Utah restaurants

Looking for some recommendations for best restaurants in Moab, Bryce Canyon area and Springdale, Utah. Lunch and dinner, as our hotels all include breakfast.
Thanks!

The Moab Diner is great for lunch. http://www.moabdiner.com/home.aspx
The Pasta place is not very good IMO.

Best dining in Moab is Desert Bistro. Expensive, res required and worth every penny.

Moab Diner is good diner food, open all day.
Eddie McStiff's is good casual inexpensive.
Personally don't care at all for Pasta Jay's.
Moab Brewery is pretty good, noisy.
Slickrock Cafe is also pretty good, inconsistent service.

Dining in the Bryce area is not something I do. Others here say the Bryce Canyon Pines (or something like that) has great pies.

In Springdale, I never miss Zion Pizza and Noodle. Excellent pizza and pasta.
Lots of people like Oscar's, I don't.
Lots of people also like the Spotted Dog, but I had a very insulting experience there, was ignored, never served and left. Never to return.
The Switchback Grill is excellent.
Bit n' Spur (Mexican) gets mixed reviews. I have not tried it myself so far.

In Moab this weekend, we tried the Blu Pig--great burgers! Desert Bistro-all the way! Lunch, coffee and great baked goods--Red Rock Bakery and Cafe.

Bryce--I have only eaten at Rubys Inn and the diner next to it. Easy with kids. Not meals you really want to remember.

Springdale--Bit n'Spur is great and the Pizza place Dayle referenced.

Realize that you are not headed into a fine dining mecca!!

Thanks for the replies. yes- I realized that options were limited. After a long day of hiking however it would be great to come back to a great meal!

We've eaten at the Spotted Dog twice and really enjoyed the food and experience. It's a little on the expensive side. Dayle...sorry you were ignored. :(

Springdale: Bit & Spur is a must, but I'm a Mexican food lover when their hot sauce is alive. Hot sauce to a Mexican restaurant is like wine to a French restaurants > house < wine in France (or southern Switzerland).

Moab.
Combine dining with atmosphere/ambiance. You must dine at:
Sunset Restaurant in the evening and enjoy view of Moab below.
Reserve early

This was Charlie Steen's home. Charlie was Moab's uranium king. He went from absolute rags (kids did not have shoes) to riches and back to rags. Fascinating history. His final mansion was built south of Reno, Nevada. It was confiscated by the IRS (of course). Current value is $3.5 million or so.

Moab Mico brewery. Two. If you want beer/pizza = McStiff
The other also has fine brew with a larger (family) menu.

Forgot about Bryce area.
We normally eat/feast at Ruby's Inn buffet.

However, if you want a very good BBQ, drive to Panguitch (cheaper motels also) & eat at Cowboy Smokehouse. They normally have evening entertainment. Call them at: 435 676 8030

Thanks all! My son loves BBQ so we might need to try Cowboy Smokehouse for sure.
Unfortunately Desert Bistro in Moab isn't open on Mon and Tues, and those are the days we will be in Moab. Sunset Grill looks interesting though!

The Blu Pig in Moab is a BBQ place. The Cowboy Smokehouse is very good--just a bit of a drive from Bryce for dinner.

It is tough finding good dining options in Moab. Desert Bistro is very good but pretty pricey. We love Sabaku - great sushi in the desert. Excellent breakfast at Love Muffin Café and Sweet Cravings.

Bryce Canyon Pines is a very family friendly homestyle restaurant with really good but simple food. Fantastic pies! The motel on site is also very nice. We just stayed there last Sept but have eaten in the restaurant on many past trips.

Our best dining in Springdale has been at Oscar's and Whiptail Grille. Have heard some great reviews of Switchback Grill. Great coffee and baked goods at Deep Creek Coffee right across the street from Oscar's. And we had a surprisingly great meal at Bit and Spur back in Sept. It was much better than meals past. Our favorite breakfast and lunch spot in Springdale is Café Soleil. Really great sandwiches! Enjoy your trip!

trip update: my husband and son dined at Moab Brewery and Blu-Pig. Brewery was ok food, good beer, and Blu Pig-Men had the best pulled pork they've ever had.
They just arrived in Bryce today and will prob just eat at Rubys since they've been driving all day and just want something close to hotel.
