Resort2me- the only cons I can think of- public campgrounds in that area fill up incredibly fast during the summer....and on weekends after Labor Day....same with some of the private...

Iron Creek CG (National Forest) is very nice, Its half way between Mt Rainier, Mt St Helen. We were there about three weeks ago.
