USA 3000 Airline: What, When, Why?

Anyone familiar with USA 3000 airlines?
They're advertising fares to Bermuda for $79 from Baltimore.
Any pros, cons or other info about this outfit?

neighbors flew to Ft Lauderdale in March..loved it..new plane and got a full lunch..only one plane though so if a mechanical problem your in trouble..I don't think they fly everday to same place..so many days to east coast of Fl and so many to the west..the day it goes down the other people return..say Sunday it leaves Pittsburgh in the am(my airport)..returns same day pm..

I think US 3000 is the Airline connected to Apple Vacations.

I thought that this is an airline that works in conjunction with cruises and charters. They fly into St. petersburg/Clearwater airport, run a lot of ads in local papers here. Someone said their flights aren't any cheaper than others but you tell me.

USA 3000 does handle Apple Vacations' charter flights, but it also offers limited scheduled service. I took a charter flight last month and it was fine -- just like any other commercial flight, no better, no worse.

I've flown with them 3-4 times (Apple and Club Med Vacations). They were fine - no unusual problems or anything. They have slightly less leg room than what I'm used to (I typically fly w/Continental).

They have the cheapest rates to Florida from Michigan and we have used them several times with no problems ( they were on time, friendly staff, even had food service, which isn't usual on a short flight.) My friend had to fly to Florida on short notice when her brother died and was able to get a rate at least 1/3 of what other airlines were going for. The only thing here in Detroit is that they don't have their own ticket counter and put up a cardboard sign. They checked people in on a clipboard, instead of a computer. If you do use them, make sure you find out where exactly to check in.
